How to block dates and fitting rooms on your Calendar

Blocking dates on your Calendar stops anyone from booking that time. There are two kinds of block, and picking the wrong one either closes your whole store or barely changes anything.

Open the Block window

1. Open Store → Calendar.
2. Select Block.
3. In the Block selected dates window, choose a tab: Global blocks or Single fitting room block.

Block your whole store with a global block

A global block closes the whole store for the period you choose: every booking, for every appointment type, is blocked. Use it for holidays, closures, or any time nobody should be able to book. It shows as a red band across the Calendar.

1. In the Global blocks tab, set the Start date and End date.
2. Turn on Block full day if the store is closed all day.
3. Select Confirm.

Block a single fitting room

Use this when only part of your capacity is unavailable, for example when one fitting room is being repaired or reserved for a private event while the rest of the store keeps running.

1. Open the Single fitting room block tab.
2. Set the Start date and End date of the period to cover.
3. Choose Weekdays or Weekends, or select Customize days and hours to pick individual days and set From and To times. Leave the hours empty to block the entire day.
4. Select Confirm.

The app creates a repeating placeholder appointment called Fitting room blocked that takes up one fitting room's worth of capacity.

What to expect

• A global block stops all bookings across the whole store. Do not use it if you only need to free up one room.
• A single fitting room block removes one unit of capacity. If you have several fitting rooms, the others stay bookable.
• The fitting room block is a recurring appointment of type Other. To change or remove one occurrence, edit or delete it like any other meeting.
